I know this is very late, but Wendy was on the set in 1994 of her teleplay, "The Heidi Chronicles" and I was cast as an extra. I think he met some unexpected problem that caused his untimely endvery sad, amazingly sad, says one of his longtime friends. Ive never met anybody like him. She knew that no child of hers would lack for ''fathers. It was one of those moments in life where I knew I had met a rare individual. We will miss her brilliance and wit. It's surprising how much a musical selection can affect mourning.
